Instructions:
step(1) - Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C), and lightly grease a few large baking sheets. step(2) - Cream butter, sugar, and vanilla. step(3) - Whisk in the egg until relatively smooth. step(4) - Mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cream of tartar, and cinnamon. step(5) - Combine the wet and dry ingredients with your hands until you have a well-incorporated dough. step(6) - Mix all coating ingredients in a small bowl. step(7) - Form balls about 1 inch (2 ½ cm) across, and roll generously in the coating mixture. step(8) - Bake for 7-10 minutes, or until nicely-shaped and barely starting to brown on the edges. Don’t overdo it!
